  • OUTDOOR BRACKET AVAILABLE: The sensor is coated with rubber oil protecting it against corrosion and water leak damage. You can mount the sensor outdoors under eve (no direct sunlight or rainfall) with the recommended mounting bracket (sold separately, ask Zooz about it).
  • Z-WAVE COMPATIBILITY: Works best with the Z-Box Hub. Supported by open Z-Wave systems only, including Home Assistant (Z-WaveJS), HomeSeer, and Hubitat. Compatible with SmartThings. Ring Alarm supports temp monitoring only (no settings or humidity reports). NOT supported by alarm panels like Vivint, Qolsys, 2GIG, ADT. If the sensor isn't working for you, it's likely that your hub doesn't support the new 800 series Z-Wave. This sensor is Z-Wave Plus certified.
