DURABLE The 6 in backdraft damper features galvanized steel construction with aluminum flap, stainless steel axis, and spring. It's 3.5 inches deep and can withstand temperatures from 14 to 140 °F. This air duct damper effectively prevents air from entering through the ventilation duct.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION The 6 inch duct damper backflow flap opens and closes effortlessly at low air volumes. It includes a smooth-running spring and an internal foam strip to prevent blade rattling. Can be installed horizontally or vertically.
VERSATILE APPLICATIONS This inline vent draft blocker is ideal for air conditioners (AC), dryers, exhaust and extractor hoods, heating ducts, vents, and various HVAC systems.
QUICK SETUP Install the dryer vent damper by inserting it into the ventilation pipe. Position the spring horizontally for optimal opening and closing in horizontal installations. Ensure damper blades open only in the outflowing air direction.
NOTE Our backdraft exhaust fan damper is suitable for both flexible and non-flexible ventilation ducts. However, it is essential to install them exclusively in metal ducts. Before purchase, measure the diameter of your duct to ensure compatibility.
